A team was assembled in 1997 to take the Jazzy power base to a new level. This team was conventionalized with one goal in mind: Take the Rehab Providers' challenges and apply those concepts in a manufacturing setting. The Rehab Applications Department was born. Quantum Rehab looked at its clients in a way that other manufacturers did not. That was not what the individual's disability was, but more importantly, their ability. With this concept, the need arose for custom manufacturing of items through our service of configuration of power bases. The Custom Group was formed in 1999 to facilitate this service for the customer. Quantum's Custom Group strives to provide the best possible product to optimize users' abilities. We deploy a variety of applications from many different disciplines to provide solutions focused solely on a client's ability. We go beyond normal manufacturing parameters to customize the application, not only for functionality, but to help the individual achieve a higher quality of life.
