See something you like? Or…did you think of something you'd like to see? Then it's time to contact your provider and begin the process of working with the Quantum Custom Group to make your dreams a reality. We're eager to work with you and here's how to get started:
- Work with your physician and/or therapist to determine your exact needs.
- Contact your provider, and tell him you have a job for Pride's Custom Group.
- Your provider will call the Custom Group with your idea.
- The Quantum Custom Group will study the request to determine the best course of action.
- Once the project is determined to be safe*, a quote will be developed and will be given to your provider.
- The provider will pass this quote along to you or, if applicable, to your insurance carrier*.
- Once approved, your provider will again contact the Quantum Custom Group and the order will officially be placed.
- Once the order is placed, we get to work building your custom project—it's that simple!
*The Pride Custom Group is eager to adapt your Quantum Jazzy Power Chair to your individual needs, but safety is always our first concern. Every custom order must undergo a very involved feasibility study and, if safety concerns arise, the project cannot go forward until those concerns are addressed. If it is determined that the project cannot be accomplished without compromising the safety of the power chair, the Quantum Custom Group reserves the right to terminate the project.
Additionally, it is important to note that much of the work done by the Custom Group may not be reimbursable under Medicare or private insurances, so there is often a chance that the cost of the custom project must be assumed by the customer.
