Ed McMahon Renews Contract as Pride's Spokesperson
EXETER, PA – Pride Mobility Products Corp., the world's leading designer and manufacturer of personal mobility products, is pleased to announce Ed McMahon has renewed his contract as the company's spokesperson.
Mr. McMahon's personal experience in seeing firsthand how Pride products help people to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life is what lead him to seek out his role as the company's spokesperson more than two years ago. Mr. McMahon found the role so rewarding, in helping spread the word about Pride's life-enhancing products that he agreed to continue on in this position.
"I'm excited to be continuing my working relationship with Pride. I've known many people whose lives have been impacted by their products and I want to continue to do what I can to help people who need mobility assistance see that they can maintain an active lifestyle with the help of Pride's products," stated Mr. McMahon.
As National Vice President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and co-anchor of the annual Labor Day Telethon since 1968, Mr. McMahon has long seen how Pride's Jazzy Power Chairs and Pride Scooters help individuals maintain their independence. On a personal level, a close friend of his uses a Pride Scooter and he notes that her life has been enhanced by it.
Serving as spokesperson over the last two years, Mr. McMahon has been featured in campaigns designed for Pride Providers and he has been utilized in all aspects of Pride's marketing programs. He has been featured in TV and radio commercials, print ads, merchandising materials, custom literature, direct mail, and on the company's web site.
Pride's Chairman and CEO, Scott Meuser, stated, "Mr. McMahon has been an excellent representative for Pride products and the industry as a whole, and we are pleased that he has agreed to stay on as our company spokesperson. We feel honored that he has chosen to continue to be an endorser for Pride Mobility after seeing first hand how our products improve the lives of the individuals who use them."
Mr. McMahon has attended Medtrade shows and other industry events as a Pride representative, where he had the chance to meet and greet our providers.
In his continued role with Pride, Mr. McMahon plans on developing personal relationships with Pride's customers and has expressed his determination in taking a hands-on role with the company's Owners Club. He will also continue to be featured in a full product awareness campaign that will include TV, radio, and print.
