Overview
Each year, Pride employees participate in numerous walks and other charity events. Some of the recent events that our employees participated in are the MS Society Walk, Out of The Darkness (Suicide Prevention) Walk, American Lung Association Walk, American Cancer Society Walk, Alzheimer's Association Walk, and American Heart Association Walk. Pride employees raised over $5,000.00 to benefit these organizations in 2007 alone.

Children's Holiday Parties
Many Pride employees also donate their time to Pride's Children's Holiday Parties. Our 2007 Children's Halloween event was a huge hit with our employees' children. About 30 employee volunteers donated their time and used their creativity to create Jazzy Lane for the children to trick-or-treat on!
Bed Race Event Highly Successful –
A Good Time for a Great Cause
The 2007 Wyoming Area Kiwanis Bed Race raised over $10,000.00 for 2-year old, Mikey Ash, who was born with multiple congenital defects that have required six operations in his short lifetime. Pride employees fielded seven teams for the bed race that required the teamwork to negotiate their way through the winding course. More than 600 area residents had an enjoyable afternoon of food, music, and competition. The event was hosted by Pride in the parking lot of its Corporate Headquarters.
The MS Walk
In 2007, Pride raised over $600.00 for The MS Walk held at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre, PA. With the best weather conditions of the year, it proved to be an outstanding opportunity to be outside, get some exercise, and support a worthy cause.
