The local provider may agree to repair or maintain the direct manufacturer’s scooter, but the owner will most likely be responsible for the bill rendering their warranty, essentially, useless. It is, in fact, not much different than any other organization that provides sales and service. Consider, for example, the automotive industry. While a local car dealer may go so far as to service a car that they did not sell, priority will be given to their loyal customer base - those people who have purchased their cars through the same car dealer from whom they are now requesting service. |
